It's been one of those months where it feels incredibly fast but yet still so slow at the same time. I guess it's not a bad thing because I hate the winter months and the faster they go by, the better it'll be for me.
It is so much better to be living somewhere that actually gets natural light again. I knew my last place was incredibly dark, but I didn't quite realize how much it was impacting me mentally (even in the summer).
Having a day off in the middle of the week somehow makes the week feel even longer than usual. Not sure how that works but I'm glad it'll finally be over tomorrow. I just wanna hibernate at this point.
The snow came through, the warnings died down the closer we got to morning, and it ended up not even needing to be shoveled because of the wind and then the sun. I'm counting my lucky stars right now.
WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY... Dangerous to impossible travel conditions due to intense lake effect snow expected. Snow rates in excess of 3 inches per hour, localized total snow accumulations in excess of 12 inches, and northerly wind gusts in excess of 30 mph are expected.
More than a foot of snow? 2 days after it was 62 degrees and sunny? It's like a nightmare.
I have federation disabled. I update and it re-enables itself. It takes me a month and a half to catch it because I never look at the settings. If I wanted ActivityPub enabled I would have never disabled it. This is fucking ridiculous update behavior and a huge safety risk.
